The TAO Group plans innovative “Green DataCentre” with renowned architectural offices and data centre developers. The focus is on “Green”, here TAO meets the pulse of the time in solar energy, wind power, geothermal energy and waste heat recovery as well as the corresponding storage in efficient, sustainable storage systems due to its current research projects. It is important to note that the availability of renewable energy sources can vary depending on the geographical location of the data centre. A combination of different energy sources can ensure a reliable and sustainable power supply for a green data centre. In the long term, the use of off-grid systems is also conceivable.<\/p>

Each new Green DataCentre site has the options for renewable energy, drought-resistant landscaping, an innovative lighting concept (LED lighting with motion sensors) and should have charging stations for electric vehicles.<\/p>

Our project partners and TAO have set out to achieve net zero emissions by 2030 through a comprehensive sustainability programme. The Green DataCentres site will use highly efficient cooling in combination with outside air and minimal water consumption. Together with other design features, this approach allows for achieving near-zero power usage efficiency (PUE) and water use efficiency (WUE).<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The Green DataCentre offers state-of-the-art protection against virtual access. Planning a data centre requires a combination of technical knowledge and skills related to various aspects of data centre design, infrastructure and operations.
